Joanna has alway enjoyed teaching and has many years of experience teaching a wide range of ages and abilities.  Many people have commented on Joanna's calm, perceptive and encouraging teaching manner.

​With Fretwork she has coached at the Julliard school in New York, at the Hochschule in Bremen, at Dartington International Summer School and at Benslow and Jackdaws, as well as privately and at Winchester College. Joanna is returning to Jackdaws in 2026 and Fretwork are starting a new course at Hawkweed College this Autumn.

I know you ask for feedback and all I can say is it was perfect.  You kept us to schedule in a relaxed way and coached effectively from a playing position, which is not always the case with some tutors.

I shall take the tips like jewels to be revisited before they disappear into the ether.
